It’s necessary to write my first post, as a personal explanation to why I want to write about technology, fashion and lifestyle in the same blog. My research has uncovered that these subjects are sometimes controversial by association amongst girl geeks.
I say, forget Stepford Wives, we all have a mind of our own. Give an honest opinion and you’ll be sure to find someone who agrees.
So as a girl geek, I have an avid interest in computing and technology but also in fashion and lifestyle matters. I enjoy nothing more than exploring and using the latest software, hardware, websites or online communities that bring my favourite interests together!
It doesn’t make me cutesy or less of a girl geek but further encourages me to delve even deeper into the technological world through my love of fashion and lifestyle subjects.
Whether you’re a code developer, web designer, online gamer, social networker or blogger, to name but a few. Remember there is no official qualification that certifies the level of your geekness, yet!
